Maryland Trip - Sandy and Pravin's 18th Anniversary

Saturday, May 6th

We had planned a four person mini road trip to Maryland. Since Thursday was mom and dad's anniversary, they had planned a trip to Marylan

d, in a hotel that was in a beautiful downtown and had a lake view. It was supposed to be a really pleasant place with a great view and restaurants and shops to roam.

We started off with getting cucumber sandwiches and a bunch of snacks, like nutella, veggie chips, and cheetos. It was a four hour drive, but we made it five because we stopped at a rest stop to eat and sit down for a little.

By the time we got to the hotel, it was already 5:30 ish. We checked out the hotel and our room which had two queen size beds that were super comfy. The view was really nice. We decided that we all wanted to go out for a walk so we all set out. We went throughout the downtown and looked at places that we wanted to go to for dinner. We decided to go to a mexican place. The only thing was that there was a 45 minute wait. So we went back to the hotel, fed Aaji, and went back for dinner. We ate and came back to the hotel and slept peacefully.

Sunday, May 7th

We had to leave in the afternoon so we went to breakfast at the hotel itself. They had a variety of options and it was great.. Then, we went out to the downtown again and looked at the view. We went back to the car and our trip was over. :(
